Uncovering The Mess

Her insides were a complete mess. She had developed a bad case of carpenter ants that made quick work of eating away her wet wood portions. There were plenty of mud dauber wasps nests and spiders to remove. And of course no camper restoration would be complete without finding mouse droppings and snake skins.

I wasn’t sure if vandals were living in there or if it was being renovated by someone as they lived inside her. The paneling and insulation had been removed in the cabin and some mishmash of new framing was in place. 

I’m guessing by the outside body work that it was previously in a wreck and sold at salvage to the person who abandoned it. Hope needed some major cleaning inside.
